When a review becomes a journey into the book

There are reviews that simply describe a story.

And then there are those that seem to walk through it.

Those that don’t just retell the plot, but manage to capture atmosphere, emotions, and sensations that linger long after the final page is turned.

This is exactly what happened with the review published by Un Cuore tra i Libri, a literary blog curated by Federica, dedicated to The Shadows of Áetheria – The Seal of Origin.

Reading it felt like seeing my world through a different lens, more distant, yet deeply connected at the same time.

💬 Some passages that moved me

📖 “L.K. Aerden accompanies us into a world wrapped in ancient mists, forgotten legends, and secrets that have been waiting for centuries to be brought back to light.”

This sentence perfectly captures the atmosphere of Áetheria.

When I created this world, my intention was precisely to build a place that feels alive, ancient, suspended between reality and myth. Seeing it expressed so clearly by a reader is always a powerful emotion.

📖 “A journey built slowly, with care, where every detail seems to serve a purpose and every piece contributes to creating an increasingly fascinating mosaic.”

This observation touched me because it reflects something very important in my writing process: the gradual construction of the story.

Every element has a role, even those that may seem secondary at first.

📖 “I closed the book with the feeling of having crossed a threshold together with the characters.”

This is perhaps the sentence that moves me the most.

Because it describes exactly what I hope to leave in my readers: not just the memory of a story, but the feeling of having lived it.

❤️ A special thank you

I would like to thank Federica for the sensitivity, time, and care with which she read and reviewed The Shadows of Áetheria.

Knowing that this story has left something in the hearts of readers is the greatest gift for any author.

And reading both her review and her heartfelt message in response makes this journey even more meaningful.
